Wondery strikes another deal with a children’s content producer. | Daily News Podcast

Wondery continues to expand its portfolio of content aimed at children. He has entered into an alliance with ABF Creative, the multicultural audio content producer, to produce his latest podcast titled Adventures of Cairo. The show follows seven-year-old Cairo, who is constantly learning and exploring the world around her.

“The way children see, understand and experience the world is shaped by the media they consume,” said Anthony Fraiser, CEO of ABF Creative. “We take great pride in providing dynamic storytelling for families, and are thrilled to partner with Wondery and share Cairo with the world.” ABF Creative has previously released podcasts Raising the Game and African Folktales with Miss Jo Jo.

The announcement builds on Wondery’s previously announced expansion into kids and family podcast content. In October, he announced a partnership with Gen-Z Media. Under the terms of the deal, Wondery will also get a first look at all new shows in development. The deal also means Gen-Z Media podcasts will now be available ad-free on the Wondery+ Kids app.

Wondery has also aligned with Tinkercast. As part of a strategic alliance announced last August, Wondery has exclusive distribution and advertising sales rights to the studio behind shows such as its flagship series Wow in the World.

Wondery has also created her own series aimed at children, such as Melon’s House Party and Little Stories Everywhere, which she co-created with Tinkercast.

All shows are available ad-free on the Wondery+ Kids subscription app or its dedicated channel on Apple Podcasts. “Our mission with Wondery Kids is to provide the highest quality, relevant and engaging podcast entertainment for the next generation of dreamers and thinkers,” said Jen Sargent, CEO of Wondery.
