iHeartMedia promotes Uta Knablein to chief product officer for its iHeartRadio audio streaming platform. Knablein steps into the position of her current role as Executive Vice President of iHeartRadio Featured Products and User Experience. Reporting to Conal Byrne, CEO of iHeart’s Digital Audio Group, Knablein succeeds Chris Williams, who is stepping down as Managing Director and Chief Product Officer at iHeartRadio, after 17 years with the company.

Prior to joining iHeartMedia in 2018, Knablein worked for Nickelodeon Digital, Outbrain, JPMorgan and CNBC. In her role as executive vice president of flagship products for iHeartRadio, Knablein led user experience, customer experience and research across more than 250 platforms.
