UFC commentator Joe Rogan has revealed that he had to change the layout of his podcast studio following his last interview with Mike Tyson.
Iron Mike made his second appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast three months before his exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr.
Tyson, 55, was a completely different man than the cool, calm and collected individual Rogan first interviewed in January 2019.
And the amplified nature of the former undisputed heavyweight champion left Rogan wishing there was a little more room between them.
On the last episode of his podcast, the 53-year-old said: “[Mike Tyson] is the reason this table is so large.
“This table, I was going to make it narrower, I even had a smaller table that we were working with as a guide.
“We were still doing the shows in LA, while we were setting up this studio, I did an interview with Tyson, and he was so excited for this fight against Roy Jones, that I got nervous to be in the room.

“I’m like ‘I like that extra six inches of space between us, because he was so excited.”
Rogan wasn’t the only person to notice Tyson’s markedly different demeanor.
He continued, “When he left, Jamie [his producer] says “she’s a totally different person”.
“Because he went from ‘Mike Tyson, pot grower, not training at all’, to getting ready to start the fight again.”
Tyson put on an impressive display during his show with Jones Jr, which ended in a draw.
And the boxer once known as The Baddest Man on the Planet intends to put on his gloves again.
When asked if he would fight again, Tyson told Patrick Mouratoglou: “Yes, absolutely. It will be better this time.
He added: “It was interesting. I felt really good, I felt confident. I felt I could do it again. “
