The edge notes that Studio 4 was Spotify’s first podcasting studio before a wave of major studio acquisitions, including Parccast, Spinand The Ringlet. (Studio 4’s moniker refers to it being Spotify’s fourth studio – a name a former employee said The edge was insulting and signified its lack of brand identity or mission).
