New podcast studio draws big names and “offers something new for Lanarkshire”

A new podcast studio in Wishaw is attracting the attention of some big personalities, including Grado and Stephen Purdon.

G4 Podcast Studio opened at the end of June and has already been busy with reservations and people checking in there.

The industry standard studio is part of the new offices of local company G4 Claims and offers the best amenities.

Greg Rudder helps run the studio and told Lanarkshire Live: “People already love the studio and after their visit they can’t wait to come back and record.

“It’s really well designed and every detail has been thought of, from the equipment we have to the decoration.

“People really notice a difference in the production and the quality of their show when they are recording here as well.

“We have a show recording here called Talk Scottish Football and when they uploaded their first recorded show here their fans really noticed a difference in quality.

“It’s really important to a podcaster and I think it’s important that we can continue to help.”

The Scottish stars have used the studio before and plan to continue using it for their podcasts.

This includes Grado, Stephen Purdon and Chris Toal, who present the Football Daft podcast.

Their podcast was already sponsored by G4 Claims, but this new studio allows them to record on location in a professional environment.

Nicole Rudder, Director of G4 Claims, is really excited that the studio is being built as part of her business.

G4 Claims hopes this new part of its business will be a success

She said: “We sponsored a few podcasts and I wanted to be able to offer another service.

“There is nothing like it in the area, so it will really benefit the local community and provide them with a space to improve their game.

“We’re looking for people with show ideas to get in touch and come and see the studio themselves and hopefully we can help develop their podcast.
