Cobra Promotions announces a new podcast, Local Legends, with the first episode featuring Zac and the New Men.
Riona McPhelim, owner of PR Company Cobra Specials, has launched a brand new music podcast titled Local legends.
The Irish-owned indie project aims to support and celebrate the best music to come from Ireland and abroad.
The first episode of the podcast, available on all streaming platforms, looks at the rising band Zac and the New Men. The young four-piece band formed in 2020 during one of the first COVID lockdowns. Although a relatively new band, the South Wales band have built a platform for their blues rock music.

They released their first single, “Second Chance”, in 2021 and have since released four more tracks. Their most popular track being their most recent: ‘Social Blur’. They are set to release their debut EP soon, with McPhelim encouraging listeners to keep an eye out for the promising addition to their discography.
Going forward, McPhelim plans to use the Cobra Promotions platform to conduct reviews, interviews, curated playlists, design PR content and create marketing directories. Local legends is only part of this overall plan.
