Discover Long Island (DLI), the region’s Official Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), was honored with two prestigious content awards last month – the eTourism Summit ‘eTSY’ Award for Excellence in Podcasting Innovation as well as the organization’s first Telly Award – the World’s Greatest Video and TV Content Honor – for the popular YouTube series Long Island TV. The original IDD podcast, Long Island Tea, was announced the winner of the ‘eTSY’ award at the annual eTourism Summit at IPW, one of the US Travel Association’s premier international marketplaces and travel trade shows, held earlier this this month.
