Announcing Digital Warmth, a New Electronic Music Podcast – Tone Madison

The first season of the podcast, hosted by Madison musician Jordan Cohen, arrives in February on Tone Madison.

Jordan Cohen, Madison-based musician best known for his solo project Songs, is in partnership with Your Madison to present Digital heat, a new electronic music podcast series. The three-episode first season will air on the first three Mondays in February.

Digital heat will feature Cohen’s in-depth discussions with DJs, producers and other figures in the electronic music world. Podcast guests will include artists with Madison connections, but listeners will also hear from people outside the Madison area. The show will continue to release in sporadic seasons, rather than regular episodes.

“In a nutshell, I listen to a lot of podcasts, including a lot of interviews with musicians, and it was very rare to find anyone talking to people about electronic music that I was interested in,” Cohen says. “So I decided to give it a shot, starting with the people in my immediate orbit and hopefully expanding beyond that soon.”
